The oxygen sensor is used in multiple applications like Generators / 2W/3W/4W and other applications for controlling the exhaust emissions of petrol, diesel and gas engines with the help of ECU. It is an oxygen concentration sensor which measures the residual oxygen content of the exhaust gas and then transmits a signal to the engine control unit in the form of an electric voltage. The electric voltage allows the control unit to detect whether the mixture is too lean or rich. In order to bring the engine into the optimum operating range the control unit reduces the quantity of fuel in the A/F ratio, if the mixture is too rich and increases it if the mixture is too lean.

PRECAUTIONS
- Use the socket only for Oxygen Sensors.
- Don’t use it for loosening and tightening of any 17mm nuts or bolts else it may get damage.
- Use this socket with specified torque value (max up to 50Nm).
- Excess Force or Torque may damage the Socket/ Oxygen sensor or both.
- Oxygen Sensors should be tighten and loosen with the help of special Oxygen Sensor Sockets not from any Spanner.
